Cabin On Rivers Edge
Cabin On River's Edge is a family-sized log cabin sitting on the banks of Cosby Creek, one of the Blue Ribbon Trout streams of the Great Smoky Mountains. Children can wade, fish, swim, and float up and down this stream, ranging in depth from 1 to 3 feet in most places.
Families will enjoy the very spacious and private grounds - the property sits on 3 acres of gently-sloping hills. View the meadows and mountains from the front porch and the ever-rushing waters of Cosby Creek from the back porches.
Kids and grown-ups love the huge basement game room, complete with ping pong, pool table, air hockey, and a 65 inch HDTV! River's Edge also has a nice-sized utility room complete with washer & dryer.
Cabin On River's Edge is comfortably appointed with fine furnishings and decor and has a complete kitchen and large dining area for great family meals together.
Cabin On River's Edge is only 10 minutes from the Cosby Entrance to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park and is less than a mile from the famous Carver's Apple House & Restaurant! Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge are each a 25 minute drive.

Beautiful & Fun We had a wonderful time here. The cabin was beautiful. Super clean, comfy beds, loved the gaming. It had a gorgeous view of the creek. Would definitely stay here again. Great for the whole family. -

I can't wait to rent it again.. the property was as advertized.. we just loved the cabin and surroundings.. the furnishings and eating/ cooking utensils were plentyful..... I would like to have tvs in bedrooms but wasn't a deal killer at any point... the creek was ovefloing from the rain so we will swim our next visit there.. we've came to cosby 5 times and our first stay here...would love to use you yearly.. we bought a couple new ping pong paddles and balls we left for all to use enjoy... can't say enoughgood.. loved the secluded cabin by the creek... thnx to you all.Management Response: What a great guest family to stay in our cabin! It was certainly OUR pleasure and great fortune to have you stay! We have plans to improve and upscale several items in the cabin so that will make it even better on your next visit with us -

Nice To Return! 2nd year in a row at this really nice cabin. The location is great to be out of the crowds but such an easy drive to activities. Falling asleep to the sound of the creek is my favorite part. Sitting in the creek when it's hot is my second favorite part. The creek moves pretty quick, but there are a couple of spots by the wall near the cabin where you can relax. There were some issues upon arrival but a message to the manager got a quick response and he came over right away to check things out and make it right! I do strongly recommend that the owners replace the mattresses.Management Response: We are delighted that you enjoyed River's Edge, and are so honored that you chose to come back again for a week. If you could kindly let us know which mattresses were a problem, we would be happy to look into this further for you! Come back to see us again -

Perfect family getaway This was our first time at this cabin. It had everything we needed. Right on a creek, beautiful front porch views where I sat every morning drinking my coffee and watching the wildlife. Game room that kept the kids occupied when at the cabin. Great for a family vacation. -

Wonderful cabin Beautiful, spacious cabin!! My family and I stayed for 4 nights during the Winter Storm Helena. We had so much snow!! The front yard was perfect for my kids to sled. The creek was peaceful to look/listen to from the back porch. My husband enjoyed fly fishing in it. The cabin itself was amazing. The décor just added to the cabin/mountain experience. We knew the kitchen was "fully stocked" with utensils and such but were pleasantly pleased to find a crock pot and other useful items. After playing in the snow we liked to warm up in the hot tub. The lady that manages the cabins, Debbie, I think, was very nice and informative. We will certainly be back. The ONLY negatives to this cabin were: 1. no TV's in the bedrooms. (we had a wide range of ages so for there to be only one tv on the main floor....ugh) 2. The pool table is unlevel so pretty much useless. -
