The Perfect Smoky Mountain Getaway We recently returned home from this sweet cabin "Sparrows Nest". It was the perfect Smoky Mtn cabin to get away from the craziness of everyday life and to enjoy the peacefulness of the mountains. The inside of the cabin was very warm and inviting. It was clean and well stocked with the necessary kitchen , bedroom linens and bath items you would need. Having a washer/dryer combo was also convenient. The cabin location was perfect. When we wanted to do the "tourist" thing, it was only a short drive to Ashville NC or the Gatlinburg area. When we wanted to go on a picnic or do some hiking in the park, the Cosby entrance to the park was only minutes away. We spent a good deal of our time just relaxing on the porch. As the sun was coming up , we would sit in the rocking chairs enjoying our morning coffee and watch for the turkeys to visit. In the evenings we would eat our dinner at the patio table and watch the sun go down. Before bed , we would soak in the hot tub and stare at the stars and the fireflies that filled the sky. I would love to come back in the fall when the weather is cooler to see the beautiful fall colors and enjoy the fireplace. Sparrow Nest is a very nice cabin to visit. We will be back!

Beautiful Location The Sparrow's Nest is a sweet little cabin with beautiful views and we enjoyed almost all of our time there. The purpose of our trip was to get away from our daily job routine, no alarm clocks, just relax and do whatever...however, the rooster right outside the bedroom window began crowing at 5:15 a.m. and would continue for 2 - 2 1/2 hours, which was very disappointing. We had no other choice than to go ahead and get up at the crack of dawn (or earlier), which we do that every day... but not what we planned to do on our vacation. Please understand that I am not complaining about the cabin, it was perfect, but had I known about the rooster, I would have sought out a different property. Working with Debbie and Smoky Mountain Falls was an absolute pleasure...very professional and accommodating.

Perfect Getaway! Sparrows Nest was more then we could have hoped for. It was a clean and cozy cabin with a spectacular view. The hot tub on the back porch facing the view was a wonderful bonus. It was nice to get away from reality for a few days and relax here!
