Great place to stay Overall it was a great place to stay. My only issue was the steps down to the cabin. Definitely not in good shape. However, everything else was very cozy. Even with the steps I would stay again

Off the beaten path We enjoyed our time in the rocking chairs on the back deck, it was so peaceful. We even managed to see a black bear walking through the adjoining yard. Accommodations were good, it was great to have a kitchen. It is about 50 minutes from Gatlinburg and the main entrance of Smoky Mountain NP. Would we stay here again? Yes, definitely!

our stay A little tricky to find when you are not coming from Gatlinburg and don't know the area, but we made it. Nice view and enjoyed the birds and the fire flies.

The Perfect Smoky Mountain Getaway We recently returned home from this sweet cabin "Sparrows Nest". It was the perfect Smoky Mtn cabin to get away from the craziness of everyday life and to enjoy the peacefulness of the mountains. The inside of the cabin was very warm and inviting. It was clean and well stocked with the necessary kitchen , bedroom linens and bath items you would need. Having a washer/dryer combo was also convenient. The cabin location was perfect. When we wanted to do the "tourist" thing, it was only a short drive to Ashville NC or the Gatlinburg area. When we wanted to go on a picnic or do some hiking in the park, the Cosby entrance to the park was only minutes away. We spent a good deal of our time just relaxing on the porch. As the sun was coming up , we would sit in the rocking chairs enjoying our morning coffee and watch for the turkeys to visit. In the evenings we would eat our dinner at the patio table and watch the sun go down. Before bed , we would soak in the hot tub and stare at the stars and the fireflies that filled the sky. I would love to come back in the fall when the weather is cooler to see the beautiful fall colors and enjoy the fireplace. Sparrow Nest is a very nice cabin to visit. We will be back!

Great view from the big porch! Waking up in the morning was beautiful, looking out the French doors at the mountain in the distance and the hummingbirds at the feeder. The drive to it follows a short winding dirt road, but once you get there, you feel very cozy nestled in the mountain with a couple other cabins separated by big pine trees for privacy. The short 25-minute drive to downtown Gatlinburg is fun, lots of quaint places to stop along the way to eat. We loved our stay!

The cabin was so cozy and private! The jacuzzi felt great and the bed was so comfy! The only negative was learning to live without wifi and cell service…But isn’t that the purpose in going to the mountains!?!?
