Mountain Creek Retreat is an authentic log cabin with over 200 feet of direct frontage on rushing Cosby Creek, a blue ribbon trout stream.
Mountain Creek has two bedrooms, a loft sleeping area, and two baths. The cabin has spacious porches that offer great views of Cosby Creek and the mountains. There is a four-person hot tub and charcoal grill on the back deck. There is plenty of room on the property for fishing, swimming, watching wildlife, and playing ball.
Guests of Mountain Creek Retreat will note the upscale furnishings and interior, including real tongue and groove logs throughout the cabin, as well as the stone-stack wood-burning fireplace. The kitchen is fully stocked.

Weekend Girls Trip My wife and her girlfriends went away for a weekend. All enjoyed the location and its close proximity to surrounding attractions (around 39 mins). They felt safe and had an amazing weekend.

Relaxing and Peaceful We so enjoyed our getaway, the cabin was wonderful and the creek behind it was absolutely amazing . My kiddos had a wonderful time playing and tubing in the creek .. I would definitely stay again . I do wish there had been xtra garbage bags for the kitchen trash can and the recliner would not recline but overall I would give this cabin a 10!!!

Loved it! We were a group of 7 and this cabin got us perfectly. We were able to just walk behind the cabin to fish and relax. The neighborhood was peaceful. We would definitely recommend this cabin.

Ideal Getaway Perfect space for my family of 5. My college age kids enjoyed the stream and hot tub. I enjoyed the peacefulness of the location, especially after spending part of our days in Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge where it was crowded with people.

Loved this location This was the perfect place for us, away from the crowds of Gatlinburgand PF. I though that it looked more remote in the photos, but really it was perfect. Even with cabins on either side it felt very private. We would definately stay here again.

Lovely stay We had a great time at the cabin. Only issue was drain in bathroom was clogged with hair upon arrival. We cleaned it out and worked fine after. The location is wonderful and cabin served its purpose for a relaxing mini vacation. Owners were quick to respond to email. Other reviews mentioned a fence blocking the river. There is an opening in it to access river so it wasn’t a problem for us.

Peaceful and Serene What can I say but the pictures do not do the view of the creek justice. The beauty that surrounds the cabin is so peaceful. The nature that surrounds you is a vacation in itself. We stayed as a family of 4, perfect atmosphere for all. Hit tub was very nice, cabin had a fully stocked kitchen, beds very comfortable, and WiFi was awesome when we were there. It was also very nice to have a washer and dryer there too. Far away enough but close enough to Gatlinburg and PF, as well as city conveniences in Cosby. Perfect getaway and will definitely be back!
