You can smell the pretzels baking, the beer brewing and the schnitzel schnitzling. The fact that it’s called “Oktoberfest” and you know how to read a calendar is probably a pretty big clue as well.
So you know that Oktoberfest is coming up, but who’s celebrating them in East Tennessee and what “Oktober” dates, exactly? Well, we’ve got those answers for you in our little blog collection of special events right here (and many of them do, in fact, begin before October!) as announced by the official websites for the events. In East Tennessee, our most recommended expecting Oktoberfest festivals are in Gatlinburg, Knoxville and Crossville.

Anakeesta’s Bear-Varian Fall Festival
August 28th – November 1st, 2026

Oktoberfest at Ober Mountain
